Casting call for area swing/lindy hop dancers

The new Brad Pitt movie, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons" is looking for 10 dance pairs (or 20 dancers that can be broken into dance pairs) that are between the ages of 18-35. Thaty have experience in 40's style of dance including swing and Lindy Hop as well as underground and Modern dance. Anyone who has dance experience and is a quick study is welcome to audition.

The dance auditions will be taking place this Friday and Saturday (the 16th and 17th) with their choreographer. Anyone interested in applying should call their office and ask for Ally at 504.569.0682

The scene is a 1947 NY Loft Party scene. Those types of scenes filled with Beatniks, Poets, Dancers and the like.


The positions will be paid, rate TBD at a later date. The scene is scheduled to be shot on March 1st (Thursday) but is subject to change.
